oa Moonshot to The Machine – Exascale Challenges and Opportunities

Tackling the computing and big data challenges of the next decade will require reinventing the architectures that have served us for the last five decades. HP recently announced an ambitious research project code-named “The Machine” to address these challenges. This session will provide an overview of major tenets of this research effort and the portfolio approach of continuous product innovation that started with Moonshot and culminates with The Machine.
