Abstract
From November 2015, a new archaeological prospection project started in the site of Mont’e Prama (Sardinia, Italy). One of the main aims of this project is to extend the GPR survey far from the previously investigated area. During this first phase of the survey, from November 2015 to now, almost 5 new hectares in the areas surrounding the archaeological site were prospected. Several anomalies, often organized according to different patterns have been detected. Some of them are clearly of anthropic origin while some others are of probable natural derivation. This survey confirms that the anthropic targets are diffused over an area larger than believed before. Moreover, high resolution GPR data allow us to model the paleo-morphology corresponding to the archaeological layer.
