Abstract

Summary

To assign potential geological hazards we have to conduct a set of engineering geological investigations, including direct exploration methods (engineering drilling, sampling) and remote geophysical methods. The most suitable remote method for quantitative analysis of soil properties is multi-channel HR and UHR (0.3–3 kHz) seismic survey. It is necessary to supplement the standard interpretation approaches with a complex analysis of the kinematic and dynamic features of the reflected waves for effectively solving of geological tasks). For this purposes we use dynamical and kinematical wave field parameters. In turn, dynamic and kinematic analysis makes certain demands on the quality of the initial data and the subsequent processing procedures. In this paper, we consider the main approaches to quality control and data processing of two-level multifrequency observations in the RadExPro software package.
