Abstract
The requirements which define the vibroseismic recording parameters generally involve a penetration threshold and a bandwith. As the sensitivity of the result to local conditions, ambient noise, or coupling are well known, a certain part of the routine field effort involves a safety margin function of possible changes which could occur during the survey. As a result, Parts of the survey are not recorded with optimum parameters because acquisition conditions are better, or worse than the average .
