C04 PORE-TO-FIELD MULTI-PHASE UPSCALING FOR A DEPRESSURIZATION PROCESS Abstract 1 This paper describes the application of a multi-step multi-phase upscaling technique to the Statfjord Field a mature oil field located in the North Sea. The method is aimed at consistently accounting for the effects of small-scale heterogeneities on field simulations. In this work special attention is given to the small-scale (pore- to lithofacies-scale) modeling and upscaling for a pressure depletion process in a water flooded reservoir.
