Abstract
Layer-stripping algorithm with the offset variable parameters is applied to the synthetic data for the model with two different anisotropic layers. Layer-stripping with offset variable parameters and with constant parameters are compared. Variable parameters make it possible to compensate for the PSwave splitting in the upper anisotropic layer more correctly. Removing the influence of the upper anisotropic layer permits investigation the anisotropy of the lower layer
