Abstract

Summary

In this case study, a 3D seismic survey was designed specifically for advanced processing techniques including 5D regularization and interpolation. The survey geometry was designed to maximize offset and azimuth sampling while reducing field effort in order to provide sufficient sampling for applying 5D interpolation. As a result, improved 3D imaging was achieved over the target and successfully interpreted.
