Abstract
Summary
In the past, different types of mobile sensors were used to image the lateral heterogeneity of the subsurface electrical conductivity. Later, the development of DC (direct current) and EMI (electromagnetic induction) multi-configuration instruments permitted to get also information about the soil layering. In this study, we report a case study, which shows a good agreement between the inversion of DUALEM-21 data and the inversion of DC data for imaging lateral and vertical conductivity variations.
