Abstract

Summary

Introducing CT imaging technique at the core scale in petrophysical evaluation has demonstrated new insights in formation evaluation when combined with existing logging data (conventional and borehole image logs). Borehole image are complex to interpret and CT scans can be very valuable to assist when evaluating them and ensuring a proper interpretation for non-cored wells.
