Abstract

Summary

The technique of identification and size determination of voids under the reinforce-concrete plates of canals and dams is developed. This method is based on combined investigation by thermal imaging and georadar scanning. The results of mathematical and physical design of georadar effects of cavities are presented. The results of experimental researches of well-known cavities are given.
