Abstract

Summary

Seismic studies to identify tectonic disturbances as potential zones of increased water conductivity were carried out using the seismic profiling method. The physical prerequisite for the application of the seismic method for the detection of tectonic disturbances is the seismic wave field reaction to the change in the physicomechanical properties of the fractured rocks in the zone of influence of the breaking disruption. As a result of the use of geophysical surveys performed by the method of seismic profiling, areas of increased water conductivity were identified on the southern side of the SMRR quarry.
