Summary

Prospects of oil and gas content of the Riphean deposits of the Nizhnyaya and Podkamennaya Tunguska interfluves from the point of view of the prerequisites for the formation of reservoir rocks, the presence of oil deposits and the conditions for reservoir preservation are considered. Based on a complex interpretation of seismic data and deep drilling wells, the geological map of the pre-Vendian erosion surface served as a basis for identifying zones of possible development of reservoirs in the Riphean deposits for the Baikit, Katanskaya and Severo-Tunguska oil and gas regions. A forecast is given for the distribution of hydrocarbon deposits by the phase composition in the Riphean complex
