Abstract

Summary

Currently, technologies for the construction of horizontal wells with multistage hydraulic fracturing and multilateral wells are being actively used to develop fields in Western Siberia. At the same time, the used waterflood systems are often not adapted to the use of these technologies. Maintaining reservoir pressure, in most cases, is conducted by standard injection wells. The use of horizontal injection wells is quite rare and has the status of pilot work. Well placement is carried out according to classic development systems invented for vertical wells. The report summarizes the experience of designing and actual implementation of development systems using horizontal wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing and multilateral wells in the fields of LUKOIL-Western Siberia LLC, conclusions and recommendations were made.
