Abstract

Few companies have experienced more of the possibilities and pitfalls of 'integration' than geoscience company Robertson Research International, which last year became part of the Netherlands-based Fugro Group. Andrew McBarnet reviews some of the company's eventful past and brings the story up to date with managing director Richard Fowler, a Scottisch geologist with a talent for corporate survival.
