Abstract

S. Qing Sun and J. C. Wan of US-based company C&C Reservoirs report on an independent research project by Qittitut Consulting carried out on behalf of C&C Reservoirs. The aim of the study was first, to assess the real world use and methodology of geological analogues in general, and digital analogue systems in particular, and second, to determine the merits and effectiveness of the analogue approach in exploration prospecting and field development.
