Abstract

Given a gravity profile, the location and size of a blocklike approximation to the source can be found with the use of simple formulas that do not involve any searching. This allows for a very fast algorithm and real-time results. The approach has proven robust when tested against different irregular sources and under noisy conditions. An applicati on to real data is also presented.
