Abstract

Summary

Earthquake a phenomenon,thought to be out of control of human is no longer an uncontrolled menace. This paper deals with the cause and effects of earthquakes and its subsequent negation. The shakes and tremors were thought to have been caused by plate movements and related occurrences.

We have presented an alternate hypothesis for these phenomena. Our hypothesis is competitive enough to convincingly deal with the anomalies which are present in the plate tectonic and subordinate theories.
