Abstract

Detailed computer algorithms to model magnetic data have their place in conventional exploration programs. This paper presents case history examples of such interpretation techniques applied to:

(1) a multisource magnetic anomaly from the Tennant Creek area;

(2) a circular-magnetic anomaly due to a dipping pipe, and

(3) the use of the Hilbert Transform method of mapping magnetic interfaces.
