Abstract

A

Seismic methods of the V type require a cross‐correlation between received and transmitted signals. This process is now carried out with computers with convolvers but was first analogically realized. When the amount of data to be processed becomes very important as for marine seismic, it might be worth considering the principle described in this article. Dynamic range determination and synthetic examples are shown.
