Abstract

Several specialized processing techniques, available under various implementation guises, have been developed for multiple suppression, but these must be applied with great care to avoid suppressing and distorting primaries. Unfortunately there is no optimum method for multiple suppression; the performance of each technique depends on the particular data example under consideration.
