Abstract
The Mjølner Field is a fault-bounded trap with a sandstone reservoir of mid Callovian to early Kimmeridgian age. The trap is a complex horst feature created in mid Volgian times. The volume of oil in place is currently estimated to be 23x 106 Sm3, sourced from marine organic-rich shales of late Kimmeridgian to early Volgian age.
