Abstract

The very first issue of First Break contained an excellent tutorial paper by March and Bailey (1983) an the twodirnensional Fourier transform and its use in seismic reflection data processing. Nine years and more than 100 issues later we now extend the discourse to three dimensions. 'FKK' stands for 'frequency-wavenumber-wavenumber' and is the natural extension af FK to the third dimension. It should in na way be confused with the German 'freikorperkultur' which is also known as FKK, This has the rather different meaning af 'free body culture' or, mare colloquially 'nudism'
