Simulating fluid flow in hydrocarbon reservoirs - a scheme of sedimentologically defined flow-unit configurations demonstrated on deltaic rocks

The approach of averaging over grid block size units adopted in this paper is based on maximum use of the similarity of heterogeneity patterns within different genetic units. Extensive studies carried out in recent decades indicate a high similarity between different genetic unit types, particularly in deltaic sediments. This is the key to the proposed system.
