Abstract

Geophysical evidence, in the form of seismic sections, seismic velocities and magnetic anomaly maps, demonstrates the existence of Tertiary dykes in the southern North Sea. The dykes are not easily identified from any one farm of evidence alone. Only when all of the evidence is put together can the presence of igneous intrusions be inferred with confidence.
