Abstract

By the end of 1990 an approximately 10000 km2 large onshore area in Jameson Land, East Greenland was relinquished after 5 years of exploration. The concessionaires, with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) as operator, decided not to continue with a second phase of exploration following the initial seismic work. Thus, no weIl has been drilled in the basin.
