Amplitude and phase properties of a digital migration process
By P. NewmanA normal interval between the delivery of a paper at a meeting of the EAEG and its appearance in print is perhaps 6 to 18 months. The following work is an exception to the norm in that it was presented at the 37th EAEG Meeting held in Bergen in 1975, and was in fact the outcome of an intern al company research memo dated October 1974.

The behaviour of a seismic vibrator using different phase control methods and drive levels
Authors J.E. Martin and I.G. JackVibrators and vibrator control systems have been deployed for seismic source tests at several BP geophysical test sites. Vibrator motions were monitored using independent accelerometers mounted on the baseplate and reaction mass. The groundforce signal, as defined by Sallas (1984) and calculated by the vibrator electronics system, was also recorded. At each site the radiated signatures were monitored using a down hole string of cemented geophones and a surface spread.
