A strategy for multiple suppression
Authors R.J.J. Hardy and R.W. HobbsSeveral specialized processing techniques, available under various implementation guises, have been developed for multiple suppression, but these must be applied with great care to avoid suppressing and distorting primaries. Unfortunately there is no optimum method for multiple suppression; the performance of each technique depends on the particular data example under consideration.

New data confirm heat flow models of SW England
Authors A. Thomas-Betts and M.S. SamsIt is weIl known that the geology of the southwest peninsula of England is dominated by the large granitic batholith which underlies the region. It is also widely accepted that this region, which has the largest geothermal anomaly in the United Kingdom, owes its high heat flows mainly to the high heat production within the granite (Wheildon et al. 1980; Francis 1980).

The Mjølner Field, a deep Upper Jurassic oil field in the central North Sea
Authors B. Söderström, A. Forsberg, E. Holtar and B.A. RasmussenThe Mjølner Field is a fault-bounded trap with a sandstone reservoir of mid Callovian to early Kimmeridgian age. The trap is a complex horst feature created in mid Volgian times. The volume of oil in place is currently estimated to be 23x 106 Sm3, sourced from marine organic-rich shales of late Kimmeridgian to early Volgian age.
