Abstract
E024 Z-99 2D deconvolution for OBC data and for internal multiple attenuation - Part 2: Practical aspects and examples Abstract 1 The 2D predictive deconvolution is a recent technique towards the attenuation of surface related multiples. In the first part of this paper (part 1) its extension to OBC data had been formulated followed by a discussion about its potential applicability to internal multiple removal. Within the paper at hand (part 2) the method’s evaluation on synthetic and real data is presented. As expected the extended version shows good performance concerning the attenuation of surface related multiples on OBC data.
