Abstract
P026 Seismic Shale Gouge Ratio (SGR) evaluation and interpretation for fault characterization Abstract 1 The Shale Gouge Ratio (SGR) is one of the main parameter designed to characterize the fault sealing behavior in clastic environments. It is used to describe the fault retention capacity and today the only one to be integrated by reservoir engineers in the reservoir model for dynamic simulations. SGR can be computed at different scales and is often generated in reservoir grid with a geological Vclay upscaled to the reservoir grid scale. A new methodology has been developed to compute a SGR at the seismic scale
