Abstract

P203 Petrophysics in the exploration of massive sulphides in the Iberian Pyrite Belt (SW Spain) Summary 1 The aim of this paper is to analyse the variation of petrophysical properties measured in field and laboratory from surface rocks of the Northwestern Domain of the Iberian Pyrite Belt and to describe its relationship with the available geophysical data as well as its significance for massive sulphide exploration in the Belt. In this work 715 density and magnetic susceptibility samples 185 remanent magnetization samples and 466 “in situ” spectrometric assays (natural gamma radiation: %K ppm Th ppm U) have been measured.
