Abstract

Z-99 High resolution wave-field filtering for near P223 Abstract 1 Information conveyed by reflecting waves is very important for near surface exploration. For multicomponent case studies we develop two high resolution wave-field separation filtering to characterize reflecting waves. First one called Multicomponent Wide Band Spectral Matrix filtering is a fully multicomponent processing working on a spectral matrix of wide band dataset. This technique is compared with Singular Value Decomposition coupled with Independent Component Analysis. On a real 3C-noise profile after wave-field separation processing we isolate reflected waves from refracted waves to obtain information on ground structure (depth and velocity). Introduction
