Abstract
P326 SH-WAVE MICROVIBRATOR TWIN IN PATTERN CONFIGURATIONS – RESULTS OF A FIRST FIELD CASE STUDY Summary 1 The portion of Love surface wave energy in shallow SH-shear wave reflection recordings plays an important rule for the resolution of shallow reflection events. If Love waves are generated due to a low velocity surface layer they are usually of high amplitude in the near source environment. Typically similar to Rayleigh waves Love waves have more low frequency than high frequency content. Therefore it is possible to influence the portion of Love wave amount e.g. by adjusting the frequency range of the seismic
