Abstract

A016 TOWARDS THREE AND FOUR DIMENSIONAL DATA COLLECTION FOR ELECTRICAL RESISTIVITY DATA Summary 1 Advances in hardware and software have made the collection of fully three-dimensional and four dimensional resistivity data not only possible but practical. To fully utilize these new capabilities requires new approaches to collecting data. We compare more traditional one- and two- dimensional data collection strategies with fully three-dimensional strategies that include array patterns such as horizontal subsurface dipoles not possible in older two-dimensional schemes.
