This paper highlights a technique used to assess geologic risk associated with different type uncertainties in estimating the hydrocarbon reserves. We consider uncertainties caused by structural mapping inaccuracies uncertain values of oil/water (gas/oil) contact depths and reservoir capacity parameters used in estimating hydrocarbon reserves.
