Abstract
P06 NEW APPROACH STUDY OF PRE UPPER CRETACEOUS FRACTURED RESERVOIR SIRTE BASIN LIBYA INTRODUCTION 1 Tibisti Field is located in Concession 13 in the centre of the Sirte Basin Libya. It was discovered by I1-13 well in August 1962. The main producing horizon is the Pre Upper Cretaceous Sirte Group fractured quartz sandstone. The Tibisti Field has OOIP of more than 2 billion barrels and its cumulative production up to February 2004 is 78 MMBO. Following the field discovery a 35 well development drilling program concentrated on Tibisti’s main structural high. The productivity of these wells varied greatly and some
