Abstract

P29 ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING CHALLENGES IN CONTINUOUS ACTIVE RESERVOIR MONITORING Summary A permanent system of reservoir monitoring has been installed on a gas storage field belonging to Gaz de France in the west of Paris. Because of the nature of the reservoir and the small saturation changes the expected 4D seismic signal is extremely low. A new processing method taking advantage of the high temporal data redundancy is presented. Introduction Gaz de France has acquired unique expertise in storing gas in aquifer reservoirs to buffer supply to meet domestic demand. Bubble expansion field pressure and gas saturation must be monitored
