Abstract

The Balcon oil field produces from the Cretaceous Caballos Formation, charged from Upper Cretaceous<br>source rocks (Villeta Group). Recent wells in the field revealed a more complex fluid distribution, with oil being<br>found at deeper levels in the southern portion of the field.
