High Quality 3D Seismic and Dynamic Modeling as a Means to Identify 2.0 MMBO of P2 Reserves in By-passed Pay in the Mature Matanegra Area, Cravo Norte Field Complex

Acquisition and analysis of a new 3D seismic data set, combined with refinements in<br>the Cravo Norte geologic model has led to a detailed numerical simulation model, identifying<br>2.0 MMBO of proven undeveloped reserves. . These reserves were either by-passed or not<br>included in the original development scheme. This work describes how true symbiosis between the<br>Geoscience and Reservoir Engineering Teams has added tremendous value by identifying<br>incremental reserves. Changes in the development scheme to target these reserves,<br>including horizontal well applications, will also be discussed. The techniques used are applicable to<br>other marginal marine reservoirs.
