Abstract
Effective and accurate characterization of fracture populations is a key for hydrocarbon reservoir
assessments. A better understanding of fracture growth processes, cement precipitation and pattern distribution
can be inferred from outcrop and core data where similarities in fracture populations can have an impact on
fracture permeability and flow pattern prediction. Here we compare fracture patterns in Nugget and Mirador Fm
sandstones.
