B033 Gravity analytic signal function as a tool for finding anomaly edges Abstract 1 One of the efficient methods for finding the magnetic and gravity anomalies is the use of horizontal and vertical gradients. It is obvious that the combination of two gradients can be more sensitive to the density contrast. This means that the gravity anomaly edges are more resolvable in this combined method. The key tool for finding vertical gradient out of the data in this paper is Hilbert transform. The transform determine the vertical gradient with a 90 degree phase shift of horizontal gradient.
