P003 A geophysical survey to characterize an industrial waste gypsum deposit Summary 1 Phosphoric acid production lead to the deposition of a large quantity of phosphogypsum forming a hill about 25 metres high and with an overall area over 7ha. In the past a large quantity of acid mud was buried in this hill in an insulated coffin. Now it is intended to use the phosphogypsum in the cement industry.
