P022 LOCATING AND IMAGING MINESHAFTS USING SURFACE AND CROSS-BOREHOLE GEOELECTRICAL TOMOGRAPHY Abstract 1 Many urban and rural environments in the UK are affected by the legacy of mining which encompasses activities stretching back over hundreds of years. In particular hidden and abandoned mineshafts and entries can potentially cause serious risks to health and safety and can have a detrimental influence on property values in affected areas.
