Abstract
The M1 kimberlite pipe is located on the farm Marsfontein near Potgietersrus in the<br>Northern province. With a surface area of roughly 0.5ha, this is by no means an<br>insignificant diamond deposit. Over 1.8 million carats were recovered from the start of<br>the project in 1998 to the end of 2000.
