Abstract

Thinly laminated hydrocarbon reservoirs often exhibit electrical anisotropy associated with the hydrocarbons.<br>These reservoirs are routinely encountered, for example, in deepwater turbidite environments.<br>Detection, delineation, and accurate characterization of the reserves is challenging using conventional<br>resistivity data.
