Abstract
Terrestrial heat flow measurement has been under way for more than 60 years in
southern Africa, and has resulted in numerous publications (referenced in Jones,
1998). There is also a substantial body of unpublished results, and the total number of
heat flow observations in southern Africa (south of 16°S) now amounts to 226.
