Abstract

TerraPoint LLC. is a world leader in the development and application of Airborne Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) 3D terrain mapping systems. Working together with NASA, TerraPoint has developed a state-of-the-art airborne sensor system, providing high-resolution 3D terrain data, operation of which is schematically shown in Fig 1.
