Acoustic Thin-bed Analysis to Enhance Stoneley Permeability and Mechanical Properties Processing in Laminated Carbonate Reservoirs

This paper presents an acoustic thin-bed analysis in a<br>laminated carbonate reservoir in order to enhance the<br>Stoneley-wave permeability estimation and the rock<br>mechanical characterization. The results of the enhanced<br>acoustic characterization were corroborated and validated<br>by a wireline acoustic image log.
