P052 A NETWORK BASED MT DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM Summary 1 We developed a network based MT (magnetotelluric) data processing server/client system using the socket and distributed programming environment. In this server/client system socket communication and RMI (Remote Method Invocation) technology were adopted to produce an effective and practical client application. The Java technology provided facilities to develop the network based system.
