The method of increasing the plastic landmines electromagnetic properties contrast is offered for the solution of the problem of humanitarian demining. The method is based on artificial change (increase) of electromagnetic wave reflectance from plastic landmines being in soil using the effect of instability of soil geoelectrical characteristics in the aeration zone.
