P228 UXO AND HAZARDOUS METALLIC WASTE DETECTION TECHNOLOGIES FOR USE IN LITIGATION-CONSCIOUS ENVIRONMENTS Abstract 1 Digital electromagnetic and total field magnetometers operated at ground level have been determined from trials in many diverse environments as the most appropriate technologies currently available for locating buried hazardous metallic objects such as unexploded ordnance.
